Do You Have Questions About Saville Spine Institute?
Find answers to the most common questions here:
Am I a candidate for a disc replacement instead of a fusion?
This depends on many factors, including whether your spine is unstable, how severe your facet joint arthritis is, and your pain pattern. It is best to visit us so we can review all the information and make a decision.
What non-operative procedures do you offer?
We offer a full range of therapeutic injections, including medial brach blocks, epidurals, and facet injections. We also work with local therapists.
What is minimally invasive spine surgery?
This varies from surgeon to surgeon, but at the Saville Spine Institute, we aim to minimize damage to healthy tissue to repair the injury. This can include a fusion, disc replacement, or just decompressing the nerves.
Do you accept commercial insurance?
Dr. Saville is out-of-network with most carriers, but if you have a PPO plan, we can work with your insurance to minimize your costs. Any hospital or surgery fees not related to Dr Savilles fee will be covered by insurance.
Do you accept Medicare?
Yes, we accept Medicare. However, some of the treatments we offer are not covered by Medicare, and these incur out-of-pocket costs. Talk to your surgeon to determine whether or not your procedure is covered.
